Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to me. This policy explains what information I collect, why I need it and how I look after it. Rayya Ramzie Hair is run by Rayya Abdallah.

What I collect

• Your name, mobile, email and Instagram handle
• Your event details, including the date, time and location
• Details about your hair, and any allergies or health information you share with me
• Inspo photos and links you send me
• Photos and videos taken at your appointment, if you've said yes to sharing
• For anyone under 18, their name and their parent or guardian's name
• For bridal bookings, your signed booking agreement, including the name you type to sign it and the time you signed

How I collect it

Through my enquiry forms, my booking agreement, Instagram, email, text messages, phone calls and in person.

Saved on your device

While you fill in an enquiry form or booking agreement, your answers are saved in your own browser so you don't lose them if you close the page. They stay on your device and aren't sent to me until you press send. They're cleared once your enquiry has gone through, or when you choose to start again.

Why I collect it

To reply to your enquiry, plan and confirm your booking, keep you safe during your appointment, send you booking and payment details and, if you've agreed, share photos of my work. I'll only send you news or special offers if you've said yes, and you can ask me to stop at any time.

Health information

Allergy and health details are only used to keep you safe during your service. I don't share them with anyone.

Who I share it with

I never sell or rent your information. My enquiry forms are delivered by a third party form service called FormSubmit, my website is hosted by Cloudflare, and my emails are stored with Google. These services may store information on servers outside Australia. I'll only share your details with anyone else when you ask me to, such as your makeup artist or wedding planner, or when the law requires it.

Keeping it safe

I keep your information in password protected accounts. I only keep it for as long as I need it for your booking and my business records, and for as long as the law requires for payment records. After that, I delete it.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct the information I hold about you, or ask me to delete it, by emailing me. You can also take back your permission for me to share your photos at any time. I'll remove them from my accounts, although I can't control copies other people may have shared.
